My favorite mantra
My favorite mantra has no name. It's something V was given, and I guess the recording is too old for most cd databases to have a name for it. But most likely the singer is just a devotee, chanting the names of god. And there's such great love in her voice, it opens the heart. So I love to hear this mantra to keep my heart open too.
Sometimes I leave it on all night, and it is the first thing I hear in the morning. This morning it woke me up, as if the volume had been turned up so loud, though when I was more awake, the volume was at the same soft lull as when I fell asleep.
I haven't gotten tired of it. And if I am tired of it, it is more likely because of something going on in my emotional state than something about the music.
